Saved projects and comparisons
Guest saved project IDs and comparison selections are held in browser local storage. When signed in, saved project IDs are stored with your account on the server. Importing browser saves requires an explicit action. Remove saved items individually or clear this website's storage in your browser. Shared comparison URLs contain selected project IDs.
Accounts
Registration stores your email address, display name, password hash, and creation date. Email is an unverified login identifier; email delivery and email recovery are not configured. Session cookies keep you signed in for up to seven days. Password changes revoke existing sessions. Administrators can see account identifiers, roles and status, and review submissions. Passwords and session secrets are not displayed in the admin interface. Account and moderation data are retained while this installation operates; automated account deletion is not currently available.
Stripe revenue connections
Payment-provider connections are disabled in the free pilot. The following describes how an optional connection would work if enabled in a later release: connecting Stripe requires your explicit consent. A live restricted API key is encrypted on the server and is never displayed again. The server reads Stripe account, product, subscription, price and customer data to calculate aggregate MRR and detect unsupported billing. Customer and individual subscription records are processed transiently and are not saved. Stored data includes your Stripe account ID, selected product IDs, consent, connection state, latest successful aggregate snapshot, sync error and editorial review.
Administrators can see connection metadata and aggregate figures, but not the API key. Only approved aggregates, product IDs and sync time are published. Disconnect removes the stored encrypted key and latest snapshot and withdraws public verification; the account association and non-secret audit events remain. Revoke the restricted key in Stripe as well. Existing operator backups may retain encrypted historical records under their backup retention policy.
Project submissions
The submission form sends a project name, website URL, public evidence URL, optional notes, and consent to the website server. Submissions are stored privately for editorial review. We do not collect an email address through this form. Signed-in submissions are associated with your account and appear in your submission history. Guest submissions remain anonymous. Submit only public information, without customer data, credentials, or sensitive content.

Project websites and evidence links open external services with their own privacy practices. Their policies apply when you visit them.
Operational data
The hosting environment may process technical request data needed to operate and protect the website. This site does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.
Storage availability
If the browser cannot persist a save or comparison change, the website will show an error instead of claiming that it was saved.
